Module 2 Chapter 12

I'm slow but I get there eventually. Chapter 12 is all about faces and figures - here are some of my paper designs using a silhouette. I drew my daughter's shadow by pinning paper on the wall and then reduced it with a good old fashioned pantograph as the paper was too big for the copier. As with the pin-men, these designs are made by tracing and cutting out in coloured papers.

Jane, I love what you are doing with face silhouettes, they have a subtle haunting feeling on me, I don't know if you meant that ... I'm looking forward to seeing you and more of your work at next Summer School. Hope you are coming

I like the colours of your papers and the shapes that are being created are interesting.
See you at Urchfont soon - I don't know what I'm most excited about the Quilt Show or Summer school, I could burst! August will an anticlimax, just as well I've a holiday to look forward to, so I can relax LOL!
